FAQ: Where can I download the app from?

FAQ: If I have a problem with Amazon Echo/Echo Dot/Alexa, can I get help from you?

Answer:
No. We are a different copany than Amazon and we are not connected with sales or service of any product range of Amazon Alexa, Amazon Echo, Amazon Echo Dot or any other variant of Amazon preducts per se. Please contact Amazon Help.

FAQ: Can I use the App on the web?

Answer:
Yes, you can you any browser to use the solution. Please access https://www.echocommunicator.com for registration and log-in. Once you log in, you will be able access all the groups that you have created or are a part of, same as the app. The web version does not work offline.

FAQ: Who should register on the app?

Answer:
A college, institute, organization or any group should register as client. Individual should not register as client. Please refer to the login process.

FAQ: Who is the Super Admin and what authorities he/she have?

Answer:
Super Admin is the master user of the client. Super admin can create groups of various types, send notices to all the groups and add/remove/edit member details. Super Admin has access to Master Dashboard and can export reports.

FAQ: Who is the Admin and what authorities he/she have?

Answer:
Admin is the master user of a group. A group can have a maximum of 5 Admins. Admin has the following rights:
  • View Attendance
  • Add/remove/edit members in the group
  • Generate attendance code for code based attendance
  • Mark attendance for classroom attendance module
  • Send Notice to group
  • FAQ: What does a group refer to?

    Answer:
    A group refers to a class, in which you can add the users to mark their attendance.

    fAQ: What types of groups can be created on EchoApp?

    Answer:
    EchoApp is flexible to suit your specific requirements. It allows the organization to create the following types of attendance groups:
  • Check-in & Check Out: This category is suitable for employees, college students and trainings where the in time and out time needs to be calculated. The organization can choose face biometric in this case.

  • Self Check in: This category is suitable for college students and conferences where the attendance in specific sessions needs to be recorded. The organization can choose face biometric in this case.

  • Self-attendance with Code: This category is suitable for college students and conferences where the attendance in specific sessions needs to be recorded. The organization can choose face biometric in this case.

  • FAQ: Can a user update his/her number?

    Answer:
    No. as a student one cannot update his/her contact no. itself. In order to update, they have ask their teacher (admin).

    What if a student doesn’t have a smart phone?

    Answer:
    Students can use their mates smart phone, to login with thier Id/password and can mark thier attendance.

    FAQ: Does EchoApp track my location after marking attendance?

    Answer:
    No. EchoApp will never track your location wherever you go. It only access location while you are marking your attendance.

    Can the super admin overwrite any attendance if once taken?

    Answer:
    No, no one has any rights to alter attendance if once taken.

    Who can be the admin and what are their rights?

    Answer:
    An admin is person who’s responsibility is to take the attendance of a particular group and he/she can only edit, add and delete the members of his/her relevant group.

    Does EchoApp run on Windows Phone?

    Answer:
    No.

    Is EchoApp available on Amazon Marketplace?

    Answer:
